'Bad Lip Reading' The Presidential Poetry Slam

VIDEO [CC] - A Bad Lip Reading turns the second Presidential Debate at University of Nevada into a poetry slam.



Donald and Hillary try to top each other's poetry while occasionally fielding questions from the audience. Who knew that the presidential debate could be so poetic?



The candidates attempt to outwit each other through the medium of verse in Bad Lip Reading’s hilarious new video.



Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton appears to recite surreal pieces such as “Because Zombies” and “Stealthily Bobby” in the spoof slam, which uses footage from the second debate.

Her GOP rival, Donald Trump, meanwhile, goes slightly darker with his telling of the sinister “Mike the Merry Cricket” and “My Garden.”



“It was not good in my garden that year, it was not good in my garden,” he appears to say at one point. Trump later adds, “I am not brave, I am a merchant.”



Nope. Us neither.

VIDEO [CC] - Debate Night! - Donald and Hillary go head to head in classic games such as "Time to Act!", "Five Favorites", and "I Can Do This!"



If you didn’t think last month’s first presidential debate produced enough outrageous statements, then you’re in luck, because Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and moderator Lester Holt have officially received the Bad Lip Reading treatment.



While dubbing is used to make it look like the candidates are saying ridiculous things, it’s often hard to discern whether some of the statements actually were made, such as when Trump proclaims to Clinton, “I don’t like how you look, I don’t like your name, I don’t like your anything.”

The short video has Holt playing a few rapid-fire games with the political rivals, including “Five Favorites,” where Trump shares his love of William Shatner, raw chicken, and lice.



Adding in fake audio wasn’t the only way to have fun with the debate; the candidates’ physical mannerisms made for a few laughs as well. Holt, who ended things early to get to a dentist appointment, asked Clinton to act as if her face muscles had frozen in the middle of laughing, which perfectly matched up with the video.

Replacing the speeches of Democratic leaders with words that match their mouth movements, Bad Lip Reading's video gives new lines to everyone from Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton to Sen. Bernie Sanders.

"Oh, wow, uh, this really sucks," Chelsea Clinton's voiceover says. "Like, all you people who are here tonight. Shout out to my crew; all my girlies."



Hilary Clinton gets a voiceover to say, "Two cheers for all the tears of my manservants. They sort of can smile and always get me the sugar packet. They’re like property of mine."



The montage also features voiceovers for President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, with the first lady appearing to say "We ladies know how a player is. But when they go 'hello' we go 'hey.'"



President Obama is made to appear to be saying "I want to list a few words that sound like real words but aren't real. Hondish. Coddlesip. Eubillican. Respeciment. Complectogram. These words, ought to mean something. That sounds nasty."

VIDEO [CC] - For the 10th Anniversary of 'High School Musical', Bad Lip Reading and Disney XD team up for a new spin on the teen classic.

The geniuses over at Bad Lip Reading have tackled everyone from the Kardashians to the NFL to the Republican presidential debate and now, they’re ready for the big leagues. They’re making the leap from the web to the television screen thanks to Disney XDD, who they’ve teamed up with for a very special version of High School Musical.



The teaser video is out now and it’s glorious but the full episode of the tragically awful, hilarious lip reading is getting a special airing on Disney XD next Monday.

To make a splash with their primetime debut the Bad Lip Reading crew didn’t just re-consider the teen classic’s dialogue, but tackled their songs, too. In this version, when Zac Efron‘s “Chorky” croons the classic love song “Start of Something New” to Vanessa Hudgen’s “Lumpkinella,” things turn out quite differently. Luckily their love story continues, thanks to their shared love of nursery rhymes unless Lumpkinella turns out to be a horrible evil psycho, of course. But if she did, we hope Bad Lip Reading would voice-over the entire thing.

'Bad Lip Reading' is back at it again, this time making the Republican National Convention even more ridiculous than it already was.



The comedy YouTube channel dubbed over Senator Ted Cruz’s speech from the convention. You know the one: It’s that speech during which Republicans booed the senator off the stage because he failed to endorse Donald Trump.



While that speech was already pretty entertaining, the good people of “Bad Lip Reading” made it even better.

It’s not the first time the YouTube channel has taken on the Texas Senator. He got his debut during The Republican Debate.



Ted’s weird, high-pitched, George McFly voice is back again for this video, and it’s probably the funniest thing I’ve ever heard.



“Let’s talk a little bit about Mr. Trump,” the “Bad Lip Reading” Ted Cruz begins his speech. “I dined with him. He put meth on my fork once.”



Just like during the real Ted Cruz’s speech, the audience here eventually begins to boo. Unlike the real Ted Cruz, however, this one starts to call people out for disrespecting him.



He says, Yeah, I’m talking to you, blondie. Don’t ever look straight at me.



I’m just saying: Maybe if Ted had gone with this speech instead, he would’ve been a little more popular at the convention. SOURCE.
