Melow Meldrew & George Bush On Deaf.Read

A hearing blogger Melow Meldrew's video "George Bush on Deaf" is a sick joke and disgusting.

The story covers for all information events which recent reports made by public to the communities. The video is a sick joke and plain stupid, we ever seen on the social media in the Deaf community. The video shows of George Bush's speech with subtitling which been added by Melow Meldrew also known as deaf-hater blogger attherimmm (ATR) from Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom.

Note: cannot embed youtube video that is disabled to this site. Pretty sure he made it look like shit on purpose to add to the comedy-humor subtitling called "George Bush on Deaf.read" who served as the 43rd President of the United States speeches all about deaf-bashing and support the AG Bell association. However, Deaf community does not find a funny but just plain stupid. Guess this old Brit man is simply ignorant and made bad substiting as well.

The Internet Opens A Window To The Deaf World

VIDEO: The internet opens a window to the Deaf world: Lydia Callis.

Huffington Post - While mainstream media still struggles to integrate diversity into programming, the internet offers a vastly different experience. People around the globe, of all backgrounds and abilities, are uploading original new content every day, smashing boring stereotypes and changing the way we view different cultures. With a larger number of Deaf and Hard of Hearing people sharing their opinions, ideas, and even their jokes, wider audiences are opening up to the real experience of deafness and Deaf communication.

Thanks to the web, the lines between Deaf and Hearing entertainment are beginning to blur. Because it is so easy to add captioning now, Deaf video creators are sharing their blogs, their art, and their lives with audiences who they may not have been able to reach in the past. By making their videos accessible, Deaf people have the opportunity to frame their own experiences and creatively express themselves without being filtered by hearing editors and producers.

DeafNation, founded in 2003, is home to some of the most diverse Deaf video content on the web. DeafNation's DN360 is an ongoing news-style program which discusses health, current events, and conducts interviews with Deaf community members. Note: DeafNation does not provide to share the video.

iDeafNews is another reputable source of news and information on a wide variety of topics.

Deaf and Hearing Network, DHN is a news agency that makes excellent use of YouTube to share information in a fully accessible way.

ASL Nook is an educational YouTube series which teaches ASL and showcases a Deaf family.

Don't Shoot the Messenger is an upcoming YouTube comedy series which centers around the awkward moments and daily misunderstandings of an ASL interpreter living and working in New York City.

Rikki Poynter's YouTube channel. As a hard of hearing (non-sign language) beauty blogger, Poynter discovered there were many barriers to web access, as many people choose not to caption their video content, so she began advocating for better online accessibility.

ASL Slam uses the Facebook video feature to post a wide variety of Deaf-created video content, and their Instagram account is also full of great clips.

As the hearing world becomes increasingly fascinated by Deaf Culture and American Sign Language, it is important for us to recognize the many Deaf people who are already out there sharing their authentic experiences. Mainstream media hesitates to hire Deaf consultants, directors, or talent, so networks continue to struggle with portraying diversity in film and TV... huffingtonpost.com/lydia-l-callis/the-internet-opens-a-wind_b_7646302.html

Deaf Women United - Non-Profit Organization

VIDEO [CC] - Deaf Women United, and organization that is of, for and by Deaf women is at the forefront of these changing times.

Deaf Women United (DWU) are an organization that focuses on advocacy, education and outreach. Deaf communities are scattered throughout the country, which makes networking critically important for exchanging of information, empowerment and enhancement in the quality of lives for all Deaf women.

Deaf Women United is committed to continuing a community of support of Deaf women from all walks of life. You can play a significant role in assuring the success of our mission to promote the lives of Deaf women through empowerment, enrichment, and networking.

Founded in 1985, Deaf Women United has provided in the last few decades one of the most significant changes in our country’s perception of Deaf women. Women in the general society as well as in Deaf communities have assumed important responsibilities and are key people in making things better. Even so, historically, successful Deaf women did not make front-page headlines, nor were they been recognized in their lines of work.

That is where Deaf Women United has made a difference. The impact of the formed DWU was immediate, and its efforts long overdue. Today, DWU’s numbers are more than half a thousand strong and it is the leader in the grassroots Deaf women’s movement. DWU members are your neighbors and friends. They’re Deaf women active in your local communities.

Deaf Web-Sites AdBlock Controversy

Raise awareness of the impact AdBlock has on Web-sites's and Advertiser's of the Deaf social networking community.

The owners of the web-sites want to make clear more than anything is that this video is not directly against adblock users. This is not trying to tell you to disable it or that you are a bad person for using it. There has just been a lot of controversy with adblock and many other blogs and vlogs making videos about its impact.

The 2 cents about adblock and its impact on sites in an ethical way. Also discuss a bit on how making money on sites works to help people understand all sides of the adblock dilemma since it is a bit deeper than "Disable it so the web-sites can make more money" that the real problem - it punishes people that disable adblock and really creates unnecessary revenue gains.

Overall ads are how you make money on web-site and adblock impacts that. It's understandable that websites need to make money from non-intrusive ads. People can't survive by working for free. When you view your favorite content providers or favorite websites, please turn off your adblockers, simply as that.

This is really a big deal and needs to have something done soon! Please help raise awareness, give the video a like, comment, do whatever you need to do to spread the word, and as always.
